8th Annual St. Matthew Society Night a Success!

April 16, 2015

At the 8th annual St. Matthew Society Mass & Networking Night, alumni and friends of Cathedral enjoyed a wonderful evening, that started with Mass in the Chapel followed by dinner.  The meal was donated and prepared by our alumni and friends, along with our students’ assistance in the kitchen.   The Cathedral Prep Saint Matthew Society, consisting of alumni and friends who are employed in the financial and business sector, assist the school in its mission by helping alumni in sharing business opportunities, raising funds for tuition assistance, scholarships, and other school and student needs, as well as in aiding in the spreading of the mission of Cathedral Prep through the society members’ business networks.

Requests for tuition assistance continues to grow, the St. Matthew Society has helped meet that need.  We are grateful for their support.  If you are interested in assisting a student or two, please consider donating to the Tuition Assistance Fund at: http://www.cathedralprepalumni.com/donations/.  Thank you.

Year-End Giving to Cathedral Prep

Dear Parents, Alumni and Friends of Cathedral,

As we continue our 2014-2015 annual giving appeal we would like you to consider giving your support to Cathedral. If you are considering making a year-end gift to Cathedral (for tax purposes or otherwise), please know we are appreciative of your generosity. You can make a gift by clicking on this link http://www.cathedralprepalumni.com/donations/ or you may make your gift by mailing a check payable to Cathedral Prep to 56-25 92nd Street, Elmhurst, NY 11373.

The Annual Giving Program is the primary way that parents, alumni and friends can offer financial support to our students and our school. Your gift helps keep the tuition affordable for our young men and their families. Additionally, more of our students every year require tuition assistance. We certainly depend on our supporters, like you, to help us meet the everyday expenses of operating our school and close the gap between our tuition revenue and our expenses.

For 100 years Cathedral has stayed faithful to its mission: to form the mind in the ways of academic excellence and the heart and soul in the ways of heroic virtue and belief. Thanks to the tremendous generosity of our alumni and benefactors like you, we are able to continue to provide this environment to the young men of today.

On behalf of Father Joseph Fonti, ’84, Rector-President, Richie Diaz, ’96, Principal, our faculty, staff, and especially our students, your support is greatly appreciated. Please know of our prayers for you and your family and best wishes for a blessed New Year!

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Tim McCleary
